SAFD “Cheat Sheet”


Probationary - > Firefighter I

Firefighter 1 Rank Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 days as Probationary FF

  • Attend orientation and have basic knowledge of SAFR SOPs

  • Successfully pass structure fire evaluation


Firefighter 1 Basic Expectations:

  • The SAFD Firefighter I is the first step beyond probation

  • Have a basic understanding of SAFD Operations

  • Have a good understanding of SAFD Rules and Nodus Rules

  • Have a basic understanding of SAFD Vehicles and their uses

  • Have a basic understanding of SAFD Equipment and their uses

  • Have a basic understanding of SAFD Roleplay

  • Be able to use SAFD Discord efficiently

    • Clock-In

    • Access Appropriate Channels and Information
