Heavy Wrecker

- Purpose

The purpose of this document is to serve as the main point of reference for all Heavy Wrecker (HW) standard operating procedures (SOP). Questions or concerns that extend past the scope of this SOP may be referred to the immediate supervisors. Heavy Wrecker training is to certify employees with the knowledge and use of our Heavy Wrecker/Rotator apparatus and its features in order to deal with vehicle related incidents or technical rescue incidents requiring lifting and moving of heavy objects

Deviations from the instructions in this document while operating in an official capacity could lead to severe disciplinary action at the discretion of leadership and in extreme cases can lead to criminal charges or investigation by city officials
