- Purpose

Keep in mind that this is the recruits first experience and impression of the San Andreas Fire Department. The orientation process should be conducted in a standardized format, in order, so that the loads of information presented to them in a short period of time can make sense.  DO NOT conduct the orientation out-of-order. It is set up in a specific manner to help the recruit understand things in a manner that makes sense. Each step of the orientation should build upon each other.

- Orientation Process

1.  Ensure Recruit is hired in the boss menu

2.  Sign 'On-Duty" Procedures

   • Discord bot commands "/clockin [mask: SAFD]" & "/clockout [mask: SAFD]"

   • "J" muscle OR "Frank The Tank"

3. Turning Fire Pager on "/pager fire"

4. MDT/HUD review

   • What muscle opens it? Key bind procedures

   • General Familiarization

   • Callsign update

5. Issue Uniforms

   • Class A

   • Class B

   • Class C

   • Turnout Gear

   • Where to find uniform SOP in case clothing #s change

6. Issue SAFD Equipment

   • Discuss "SAFD ARMORY"

7. SAFD "LOCKER" and its use

   • Discuss expectations of things to be carried on duty or left in locker

   • Discuss certain things such as weapons should be left at home or in personal vehicles, not in our lockers

8. Garage and SAFD Vehicle familiarization

   • Vehicle types and what their purpose is

   • Who can drive what

   • Current Scuffs/Bugs

   • Vehicle Shop out back

   • Vehicle Extras and their uses

9. Discuss the expectation(s) of utilizing SAFD Vehicles

10. Using our hose lines and extinguishers

    • What muscle opens it? Key bind procedures

11. Class of fires

    • How to identify

    • What extinguishment techniques

12. Discuss other "equipment" --I.E. items not physically in-city but we verbalize for RP purposes

13. Rank Structure, Rank Requirements, Career Path, Evaluation process, etc.

14. Where to find SOPs and what to be reviewing for their success in the SAFD

15. Discuss activating "Body Camera", "Home Muscle" use and how to report a player & notifying Chain of Command of any issues

16. Trip to LSPD for MDT update

17. Change their fiveM 'nickname' so they show in the fire logs correctly

18. Keybind Set-Up if wanted

19. Review of Nodus Rules

20. Review of SAFD Code of Ethics & Disciplinary Process
